The compensation process consists of six steps:

1. You calculate your emissions due to your attendance of the Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum by using the personal greenhouse gas calculator.
2. You financially contribute the amount which is required to compensate your individually generated greenhouse gas emissions to the climate protection project.
3. The contributions are used to finance part of the compensation project.
4. myclimate guarantees quality assurance, monitoring and controlling.
5. The project is to deliver certificates attesting the accomplished reduction of GHG emssions.
6. Emission certificates used for compensation purposes shall be registered in the National Emissions Registry of Switzerland.
